Tell us a bit about your role?

In my role on the Procurement Operations team at pladis, I focus on managing vendors and reviewing their performance, conducting supplier quality audits and handling everything from order placement to price negotiations and contract management. A big part of my job is sourcing raw materials and services for the company, which keeps things interesting!


What do you enjoy most about working at pladis?

What I love most is the collaborative atmosphere here. There’s a real emphasis on diversity and inclusion, which makes for a vibrant workplace. My supportive teammates also make work enjoyable.

What has been your proudest achievement working at pladis?

One of my proudest achievements was working with the R&D Team to eliminate unnecessary material specifications and streamline recipes. This collaboration resulted in over 120 million Naira in savings from July to September 2023! I was also honoured to receive several mentions throughout the year, including being named Procurement Employee of the Month, which felt amazing.


What’s your favourite pladis product?

My favourite pladis product is McVitie’s Crackers original. I absolutely love the crunch.


Finally, how do you ‘bring it’ to pladis?

I bring my cheerful approach, problem solving skills, adaptability and willingness to take on challenges.
