Tell us a bit about your role?

I work in the Research and Development (R&D) Department, focusing on launching new products in Egypt. I'm responsible for the entire product life cycle, from conceptualisation and formulation to production and quality assurance.

What do you enjoy most about working at pladis?

I love collaborating with my colleagues in production, marketing and quality control to turn consumer insights into products. I also love seeing the joy on our consumers' faces when they taste our biscuits!
 

What's been your proudest achievement working at pladis?

I was honoured to win the Yıldız Holding Stars of the Year award for outstanding team collaboration in our Middle East, North Africa and India, and Türkiye regions. My passion for food sciences, and active engagement with food organisations and universities drive my work.

What’s your favourite pladis product?

I may be slightly biased as I worked on them, but I love McVitie’s Digestive Nibbles.

Finally, how do you ‘bring it’ to pladis?

I bring a collaborative approach to my R&D role – focused on meeting evolving consumer tastes through close teamwork and a desire to push boundaries.
