Tell us a bit about your role?
As the leader of the pladis Taste Centre of Excellence, I help shape the delicious flavour profiles of our snacks and treats – from crafting the perfect balance of sweet and savoury to exploring trending taste combinations to inspire our consumers.
What do you enjoy most about working at pladis?
The ambition, boldness and drive of the business really motivates me. I particularly enjoy the rich diversity in terms of backgrounds and nationalities across the business and within my incredible team.
What's been your proudest achievement working at pladis?
It’s incredibly rewarding to see regions embracing the taste trends and curves in their new product innovation process – shortening the development cycle and driving repeat purchases.
I’m always proud to see our Digestives in the many homes I visit around the world, including my parents’ fridge (yes, fridge!) in Egypt.”

What’s your favourite pladis product?
Milk chocolate Digestives – the perfect blend of sweetness and saltiness for me. I’m always proud to see our Digestives in the many homes I visit around the world, including my parents’ fridge (yes, fridge!) in Egypt.
