India team invest in future talent
Our pladis team in India have launched an exciting new recruitment programme, offering the finest, young, creative brains the chance to win a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of snacks.
The first phase, which was launched across four premier management institutes in Delhi/National Capital Region: Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, Management Development Institute and Fore School of Management, will see 12 teams of three compete in the ‘Bake the Case’ challenge. Each team will submit an operations case study, putting their knowledge of marketing, finance and HR to the test, as they showcase how their ideas would contribute to pladis being the world's fastest growing snacking company.
The winning team will earn a place on our ‘Summer Dunks 2024’ internship programme, which includes a trip to one of our largest factories outside of India, and the chance to enrol in our ‘Baking Beautiful 2025’ scheme, which includes a year of cross-functional training as part of our McVitie’s team in India.
The initiative supports pladis’ commitment to providing best in class development opportunities and our strong belief that learning is a lifetime pursuit for us all.
