Surya was appointed Managing Director, Middle East, North Africa and India in March 2022.

Prior to his current role, Surya worked for Kimberly-Clark for five years, leading the business in the South Asia and India Region as Managing Director and CEO. He was also on the Board of various entities of Kimberly-Clark in India and a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Surya worked for Kraft Foods/Mondelez for 10 years, where he was responsible for leading Mondelez’s biscuit business in the Eastern European, Middle East and North Africa Region as General Manager/Category Director. Surya also spent six years with Kraft Foods as Category Marketing Director of their Asia Pacific biscuit business. Surya began his career with Procter & Gamble in India, the Philippines and Singapore Regional headquarters.

Surya has lived in the Philippines, Singapore, Brazil, UAE and India. He holds an MBA in Management from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad and a B-Tech Hons from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur.
